Xbox 360 with a bad hitachi driver. Can i make my new toshiba ts-h943 driver use the chip from the hitachi?

Gabriel asked:

I bought a new toshiba ts-h943 driver for my xbox 360 which now has the original hitachi driver in it. I pulled both apart, but the chip that I was going to move out of the hitachi does not fit in the new toshiba driver. Can I make this fit, or will it even work.
