Can the Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter be replaced with the adapter for the original Xbox?

Gabriel asked: Can you use the network adapter from the orginal Xbox and use it for the Xbox 360? Cuz the 360 one is $100.00 and it’s rediculous pricing. I need internet access to play Xbox Live from upstairs. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!Sharron
